The Locks Venue is located about 45 minutes from the Portland Airport (PDX). While Uber & other ride shares are possible, we can't guarantee how available they will be that far from the city, so renting a car is our recommendation for getting around. Especially if you want to explore the beautiful surrounding area in the Columbia River Gorge (find more things to do here).
Lodging
There are several options in Cascade Locks of varying size, style and price. For convenience, we will be providing a shuttle to and from the wedding for these 4 options listed below. There are more options in the surrounding areas if you are planning to drive to and from the wedding.
There are also some accommodations other than normal hotels, including Airbnb, Vrbo, and camping. If you are coming for an extended trip, it may be worth looking at options in other areas and switching hotels before or after the wedding weekend.​​​
CASCADE LOCKS
BEST WESTERN COLUMBIA RIVER INN
The most traditional hotel on the list of local options, likely to have the most available rooms. Also the most expensive.

Cute individual cabins at a relatively affordable price. Offers different size units for different size groups. Limited number of units available.

Log cabin themed motel with ample rooms available at a reasonable price.

COLUMBIA GORGE INN
Small motel at the center of town. The oldest of the buildings but also the shortest walk to the venue.

STEVENSON, WA
Directly across the river from Cascade Locks, Stephenson has several more hotel options, mostly on the more upscale side.

HOOD RIVER, OR
Further into the Gorge, Hood River is a beautiful mountain town about 20 minutes from Cascade Locks with a variety of hotel options.

TROUTDALE, OR
Troutdale is the western most area of Portland. It has the widest variety of affordable hotel options and is a 30 minute drive to Cascade Locks.
